Worshipful Master's Message

A Message from the Worshipful Master

Greetings, and thank you for visiting the online residence of Annapolis Lodge no. 89; we are pleased to have you here.

Freemasons have proudly called Annapolis home since before the establishment of the United States of America, and we have been meeting in our current building for over 175 years. The founding principles of Faith, Hope, and Charity have illuminated the way for many throughout the years, and today you can find us at the meetings listed on the Trestleboard or out and about with our sleeves rolled up, working together to improve our shared community. In fact, we strongly believe that when we all work together we can accomplish much more than we can when we work alone. If the efforts make even the slightest improvement, the work was well worth the expenditure.

Our Lodge is built on companionship and understanding, with members hailing from various vocational and religious backgrounds. A quick internet search will return a bewildering array of thoughts, opinions, and exposés. It can certainly be confusing! However, there is a clear antidote: learning for yourself. You are invited to search the website and learn about our local history and some notable Annapolitan Brothers, discover more about the Fraternity in general, and plan a visit with us. We meet for dinner on the first Monday of the month, and you can consider this a standing invitation. If you would like to schedule time to speak with a member of the Lodge for any reason, please send us an email at info@annapolislodge.com and we will reach back out to you.

May Providence continue to shine in our hearts, and may our thoughts and actions ever be in harmony with ourselves and our neighbors.

See you soon!

Sincerely & Fraternally,
Anthony Glass
